The TAIKAI on March 27th 2011 was a great success and soon I will be putting up images and videos on this site so you can view the days events.

As mentioned on the day we decided to give the profits from the TAIKAI directly to the victims of the disaster in Japan.

We are happy to say that a donation of £600 from that day has been sent to Takeo Kaneko and Soke Ueno, who have kindly organised a way of using it to help the families in the Ryushinkan school who have suffered as a result of the earthquake/tsunami.

Also on the day Satako and her daughter made some cakes and Sushi which she sold and made £298. This will be going to Japan relief charities, in this case the Japanese red Cross Society and the non-profit organization of "Ashinaga" which provides financial aid, education and emotional care to children orphaned during the Tohoku Tsunami.

We would like to thank you all for your generous donations at the TAIKAI.

We also hoped you enjoyed the Sushi, cakes and other food provided.

Well done everyone!

Regards

Piero Barba Renshi
