The Diddy Deshi grading was held on Tuesday 27th October at the Olympos (Triangle) Sports Centre in Burgess Hill. Deshis from all three Diddy Deshi dojos; Haywards Heath, Olympus Burgess Hill and Manor Field School all attended a grading in order to achieve new belts and stars.
Under the watchful eye of senior black belts and their instructors, the class completed their demonstrations of good karate techniques and their knowledge of Kata (set moves) with focus, spirit and determination. The support of the parents and carers is paramount and was certainly not in short supply at the grading.
We would like to thank all spectators for their contributions to our chosen charity, The Rocking Horse Appeal; we raised an amazing £150.00. This charity was chosen following the support received at the Royal Alexander Children’s Hospital in Brighton by Luca Barba, Renshi Piero’s son, after discovering he was suffering from Hydrocephalus.
Congratulations to all the students on their hard work and achievements. Keep up the good training.
